Going to the market in the morning.
Kathmandu is not a night city. After 9:00 PM it is difficult to do something fun because everybody is at home and getting ready to go to sleep.
But at 5:00 AM, my goodness, the city is so busy already and full of energy.
I had the chance to go to the market a few times doing some TV interviews and photo shooting. I have to say that I always came back with great sharing moments with the people that I’ve met.
I cannot say that it was the most cleanest market I ever seen in my life, Yes many of them are very dirty and do not respect our hygiene standards but after one week and eating everything and everywhere I never got sick. So, they must know how to control things… J
